"I've seen catalog scans of the the Gucci's, Orange Hemps, and Brain Wrecks.
Can't tell much from the pics as they're blurry catalog scans. I will relate what I know to you all though, based on the pics and the info I got from my connect, who owns a shop with a Premium SB account:
I really can't tell you anything new about the Guccis. The pic looks like the toebox is a slightly lighter shade of green then the rest of it. UNSUBSTANTIATED INFO FROM MY CONNECT: 1) The fact that the toebox appeared to be lighter green is just a trick of the lighting or the result of a bad scan. 2) When I asked him what the numbers look like he said 'more limited then trickstar, less limited then what the dunk', 3) The materials will be identical to the original sample, 4) They drop in November.
Orange Hemps are amazing, and orange un-hemps would be a more fitting title, as the distribution of hemp to other materials is reversed from the previous hemp SB's. What does this mean? The whole shoe is orange suede, only the toebox and side panel are hemp. The swoosh is black, the midsole is the same orange as the rest of the sneaker, and the outsole appears to be gum. UNSUBSTANTIATED INFO FROM MY CONNECT: These are an Asia exlusive that might come out as a 2010 QS stateside. They drop in Asia, in November.
Brain Wrecks are also beautiful. The whole shoe except for the toebox, swoosh, midsole, and outsole are 'pavement grey' suede (looks comparable to the color of the suede on the purple pigeons). The swoosh and toebox appear to be a cream color. The midsole is white, and the outsole is red (just like the nyc pigeons) There is something printed on the back, but from the angle all I can see is the letter H. No info on numbers or release date BUT PLEASE NOTE: The pic is just labeled 'Pavement Grey Dunk High SB' - I drew the conclusion myself that they were the Brain Wrecks based on matching what they look like to the Kix-Files description (they do resemble NYC Pigeons except where the pigeons have tonal grey, the grey on these appears to be all the same shade)
Sorry for this tease, and I wish I could share the pics but I promised my connect I would not and I don't wanna lose him. Also, I'm not certifying that any of the info he gave me is 100% accurate - just what I've been told. He could be wrong.
Sorry I'm doing the same rumor-mongering I've previously complained about but I've tried my best to separate rumor from fact so people temper their reactions...
